Browse and research Vendors to learn about your competition and identify possible partnerships

GovTribe maintains an extensive, up-to-date database of all Vendors that have registered to business with the federal government, allowing you to research competition and identify possible partnerships.

Vendors Search Page

To access the Vendors Search page:

Step 1. Go to: Main Menu >> Participants >> Vendors

The Vendors Search Page will be displayed, which allows you to view and access Federal People associated with contracts and grants on GovTribe.

Federal Vendors Reports Tab

The Federal Vendors Reports Tab displays a bar graph representing the number of Vendor Registrations that have been registered within the selected timeframe. Registration types are represented by different colors, as shown in the legend underneath the graph .

If no search criteria or filters have been defined, the bar graph will include ALL Vendors; otherwise, it will only reflect the Vendor(s) returned by your search and filter criteria.

By default, the timeframe is one year past “today”, grouped by Quarter. You can change the timeframe by selecting any dates in the two date fields, and change how the information is grouped using the drop-down provided.

Vendor Detail Page

To access the Vendor Detail page:

Step 1. Go to: Main Menu >> Participants >> Vendors

Step 2. Search for the desired Vendor, then click on the Name of the vendor listed (or the View button).

You can also access a Vendor’s detail page by clicking on any Vendor link throughout GovTribe.

The Vendor Detail Page will be displayed.

Reports Section

At the top of the Vendor Detail Page, the Reports section is displayed with the Funding tab selected by default. Click each tab to view a different report for this Vendor, as described below.

Funding Tab

This Reports tab displays a bar graph representing funding in dollars for this Vendor’s Contracts and Grants over the selected time frame, which can be changed in the Date drop-down list at the top.

Scroll over any bar section to see the dollar amount it represents.

Awards Tab

This Reports tab displays an area graph representing the total number of Awards for the Vendor.

For more information, see Awards Reports.

IDIQs Tab

This Reports tab displays a list of Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contracts currently active for the Vendor, and their obligation data.

Schedules Tab

This Reports tab displays a list of Schedule Contracts currently active for the Vendor, and their obligation data.

GWACs Tab

This Reports tab displays a list of Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) currently active for the Vendor, and their obligation data.

BPAs Tab

This Reports tab displays a list of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) currently active for the Vendor, and their obligation data.

Funding Analysis Section

This section provides useful information about the Vendor’s funding history, starting at the highest contracting level and allowing you to drill down to the lowest. See Funding Analysis for a more detailed description of this section’s functionality.

The example below shows that this Vendor was awarded $15b (97% of its total awarded dollars) in Federal Contract Awards since its inception (you can change the timeframe in the dropdown at the top), and $388m (2.5% of its total awarded dollars) in Federal Grant Awards.

When the Federal Contract Awards section is clicked in the above example, the chart changes to drill down into details on the Federal Contract Awards only, as shown below:

Details Section

This section displays useful information about the Vendor, including a link to their website (if listed), contact information (useful for partnering opportunities), Category info, and more.

SBA Certified Business Types include 8a and HUBZone, and if applicable will display the expiration date, as shown below:

Primes Section

This section lists Prime contractors that use this Vendor as a subcontractor, along with access to the Contracts and Grants for each Prime contractor.

Subs Section

This section lists Subcontractors for which this Vendor was the Prime, along with access to the Contracts and Grants for each Subcontractor.

Federal Contract Vehicles Section

This section displays a list of all Federal Contract Vehicles that have been awarded to this Vendor.

Federal Contract IDVs Section

This section displays a list of all Federal Contract IDVs that have been awarded to this Vendor.

Federal Contract Awards Section

This section displays a list of all Federal Contracts that have been awarded to this Vendor.

Federal Grant Awards Section

This section displays a list of all Federal Grants that have been awarded to this Vendor.
