When Creating a Pipeline

Should you use a Single Pipeline or Multiple pipelines?

We recommend creating a single Pipeline for your account, unless you have one of the following scenarios:

  • Entirely separate teams working on specific types of pursuits who don't want to be notified of what other teams are doing

  • Multiple processes/ tracking practices your pursuits. In other words, if you have separate processes that would result in different stages/ steps, then you should create a separate pipeline to manage the separate workflow.

What should you do about stages?

You can create your own which will result in a simple "Stage 1, 2, 3, etc." that you can edit to represent your teams unique processes, or you can select from one of our Predefined Templates. You can still edit the templates as you see fit as well. It really just depends on what your teams preferences.
