How to turn on the GovTribe Zapier integration, access your key, and connect to Zapier

Creating an API key, and linking it to your Zapier account, is really easy. The following tutorial will walk you through the proccess.

Step 1: Create Zapier Account

First, make sure you have a Zapier account created. If you do not have one made just yet, you can make a free account on Zapier.com.

Step 2: Create your API Key.

Once you have your account made, log into your GovTribe account and open the settings window on the top right of the homepage. Click the "Integrations" button to open the Integrations admin menu for your user:

Click the "Add Zapier Key" button to generate an API key for your user. Make sure you copy this down in a good place, and don't share it with anyone!

Step 3: Add your Key to Zapier

Finally, to make the connection, open your Zapier account and create a new zap. When adding GovTribe to your Zap - add in the newly created API key from the previous step. You are now ready to go!
