Also referred to as Federal Supply Codes, Product Service Codes (PSCs) maintained at are used by the United States government to describe the products, services, and research and development purchased by the government. Government procurement specialists and government contractors alike require a solid understanding of these codes in order to produce quality partnerships between buyers and suppliers.
GovTribe maintains a list of PSC Categories and their details, allowing you to:
filter by your relevant PSC Categories when searching for Opportunities,
research competitors and possible teaming partners within certain PSC categories
To access the PSC Categories Search Page:
Step 1. Go to: Main Menu >> Categories >> PSC Categories. ()
The PSC Catgories Search Page will be displayed, which allows you to view and access information about PSC Categories.

To access a PSC Category’s Detail Page:
Step 2. Search for the appropriate PSC Category, then click on its Title (or View button).
The PSC Category’s Detail Page will be displayed, which allows you to view and access its information.
At the top of the PSC Category Detail Page, the Reports section is active and displayed at the top of the page, with the Funding tab selected by default. Click each tab in the Reports section to view a different report for the PSC Cateogry.
This section provides a list of Opportunities for this PSC Category, based on the number of times it has been accessed by GovTribe users.
This section provides useful information about the PSC Category’s funding history, starting at the highest contracting level and allowing you to drill down to the lowest.
This section provides a description of the PSC Category, as defined in The North American Industry Classification System.
This section displays a list of all Federal Contract IDVs that have been awarded for this PSC Category.
This section displays a list of all Federal Contracts that have been awarded for this PSC Category.
This section provides access to information about the Federal Contract Opportunities currently open for this Agency.
