A Federal Agency is any federal department, commission, or other U.S. government entity. Agencies can have multiple sub-agencies. For example, the National Park Service is a sub-agency of the U.S. Department of the Interior.
GovTribe maintains up-to-date information on all Federal Agencies, allowing you to research agencies and their Opportunities and Past Awards of interest to you.

To access the Federal Agencies Search page:
Step 1. Go to: Main Menu >> Participants >> Federal Agencies. (Take me there)
The Federal Agencies Search Page will be displayed, which allows you to view and access Federal Agencies associated with contracts and grants on GovTribe.
Please refer to Search 101 for details on how to use this page to search for awards
The following image describes this page and its features and functionality.
Favorite the Agencies you wish to pursue contracts with. When searching for Opportunities, you’ll be able to quickly add those Agencies to your filters.
To access a Federal Agency Detail Page:
Step 1. Go to: Main Menu >> Participants >> Federal Agencies. (Take me there)
Step 2. Search for the desired agency, then click on the Title of the Agency listed.
You can also access an agency’s detail page by clicking on any agency’s link throughout GovTribe.
The Federal Agency Detail Page will be displayed.
Within the Federal Agency Detail page's Overview tab, the following content is shown:
This section provides a list of Opportunities currently active for this Agency, based on the number of times the Opportunity is viewed in GovTribe.
This section provides a list of Agencies that are similar to the one displayed.
At the top of the Federal Agency Detail page, the Reports section is active and displayed at the top of the page, with the Overview tab selected by default. Click each tab in the Reports section to view a different report for this Agency.

This section provides useful information about the Agency’s funding history, starting at the highest contracting level and allowing you to drill down to the lowest.

Buyer Personas will list employees that make purchases for this agency.
This section displays a list of all Federal Contract opportutnies that have been posted by this Agency.
This section displays a list of all Federal Contract Vehicles that have been awarded by this Agency.
This section displays a list of all Federal Contract IDVs that have been awarded by this Agency.
This section displays a list of all Federal Contracts that have been awarded by this Agency.
This section displays a list of all Federal Grants that have been awarded by this Agency.
