Automatic Topic Extraction

Beacon applies machine learning to detect and categorize subjects mentioned in:

• Articles & Gated Assets

• Contacts’ reading patterns (based on content they’ve viewed)

You do not have to manually tag content—Beacon does it for you.

Topic Rankings

• Relevance Score: How central a topic is to a specific piece of content.

• Strength Score: Indicates how strongly a contact or group engages with that topic over multiple interactions.

• Recency: Reflects time sensitivity; a topic might be trending if many new interactions occur within a short time.

Topic Pages

Under Topics in Beacon, you’ll find:

• Topic List: A master list of all recognized topics.

• Filtering: Search or filter by how often a topic is mentioned, or sort them by recency or popularity.

• Topic Detail: Clicking a topic shows related articles, assets, and the top contacts/groups interested in that topic.
